Learning & Brain Disorders Resolution

Let Us Tell You About Us

Nancy Evans holds a BSN from Virginia Commonwealth University and is a licensed registered nurse. Her personal experience with the Crossinology® Brain Integration Technique led her to become fully certified in its practice by studying directly under its founder, Susan McCrossin. Nancy has also studied “Theory on the Energetic Structure of Man” and “Kinesiology Correction Techniques for the Energetic Structure of Man” with Dr. Charles Krebs, with whom McCrossin worked in creating the original Brain Integration model.

Nancy's daughter was formally diagnosed with ADHD and was on medication for several years. Brain Integration treatments allowed her daughter to stop taking that medicine, grow 5 inches in nearly as many months, achieve much greater academic success, and enabled the family to realize a level of stability and joy that had not been possible before.

“I had to learn this technique once I experienced it for myself. I practiced as a nurse for twenty years because I wanted to help others. Now I’ve found a way to help people reach a place where they can dramatically improve their quality of life and feel good about themselves. I have other training and expertise in the healing arts, hypnotherapy and yoga, yet Brain Integration Technique has had the most profoundly positive effect on my family and clients. I routinely witness what I once would have considered miracles and I never take it for granted.”

Nancy & Robert Evans founded Open Pathways to Learning LLC in Fort Collins, Colorado in 2005. You can read Nancy's Story here.

Mary Dravis-Parrish worked with Poudre School District Special Education for 18 years as an instructional para. Her primary focus was teaching elementary children language arts and math. She understands the frustrations that students, parents and teachers encounter with learning, behavior and brain disorders.

Mary learned about Crossinology Brain Integration Technique (BIT) as her stepson was struggling in school. After she and her husband exhausted the usual methods of treating their son’s learning disabilities - nutrition, vitamins, supplements, medication, and counseling, as well as the frustration of trying to find a label that encompassed his problems - she attended an information meeting about BIT presented by Open Pathways to Learning’s founder, Nancy Evans. Intrigued and needing something that would make a difference for her stepson, Mary’s family decided to give treatment a try.

The results were so amazing that Mary decided to further explore this impressive modality by having brain integration treatment herself. The results she experienced were similarly impressive, as formerly difficult tasks became easier and her mental/emotional outlook became clearer and more positive.

Mary’s personal experience with BIT, along with witnessing the beneficial outcomes students in her school were experiencing from this treatment, led her to become certified in Applied Kinesiology and Crossinology Brain Integration Technique (studying with its creator, Susan McCrossin).

Mary is a naturally gifted practitioner/healer with a strong desire to help make learning and living more successful for children and adults. Her clients report improvements in their learning, life skills and attitudes. Many have experienced less stress in their lives and the ability to navigate their life’s challenges more easily and successfully.

In addition to Mary’s certification in Applied Kinesiology and Crossinology Brain Integration Technique, she also practices and teaches Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), based on bringing physical health through emotional relief.
