Hi Open Pathways!
I just wanted to tell you what happened at Jesse's parent/teacher conference on Friday. His teacher told me he is currently
doing 6th grade reading work in her class (with the help of his special teachers....) but nonetheless he is at GRADE LEVEL!!!!
He has NEVER been at grade level before!!!!!
At the end of last year he was a full 2 grades behind!!!! Then if that wasn't good enough news, she told me that she had instructed
all of the kids to write a paragraph. They had parameters they needed to stay within and special rules, etc. She said that Jesse
wrote the most beautiful paragraph and followed ALL of the rules!!!!!
She said he did better than most of the class!!!!!
I'm like, are you KIDDING ME??? I don't think Jesse has ever even written a "paragraph" (without a tantrum, crying, etc.), let
alone a "beautiful paragraph"!!!!
When she told me this, I was just grinning ear to ear, thinking to myself, "It worked". If I wasn't convinced before (which
I was...) I'm TRULY convinced now, that this has worked and has helped my son. THANK YOU!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!
